Repairing MacBooks
The Apple MacBook notebook computer is available in a range of models, the MacBook Air 11, the MacBook Air 13, the classic white MacBook 13, the short-lived aluminum Unibody MacBook 13 and the sleek MacBook Pro range in 13, 15 and 17 inch models.

If the failure happens within the warranty period then Apple will carry out the needed repairs, but if your warranty has run out then you must either pay Apple's repair fee (often not cheap!) or carry out the repair yourself.
